NORDIC ECOLABELHet Nordic Ecolabel - ook wel Nordic Swan genoemd - is het milieukeurmerk van de Scandinavische landen (Noorwegen, Zweden, Finland en Denemarken) en IJsland. Het keurmerk is in 1989 bedacht door ministers van deze landen omconsumenten milieubewuster en producten en diensten duurzamer te laten worden. Het Nordic Ecolabel is vergelijkbaar met het Nederlandse Milieukeur-merk. Producten met dit logo zijn dus één van de minst milieubelastende in zijn soort. Bij het opstellen van de criteria waaraan dragers van het ecolabel moeten voldoen is onder meer rekening gehouden met: • Energie• Gevaarlijke chemische stoffen• Afval• Verpakking

ECOLABELCertifi catie voor Duurzamere Producten en Diensten. Het EU Ecolabel is hetEuropese milieukeurmerk voor non food producten en diensten, met als doel duurzamere productie en consumptie te stimuleren. Het keurmerk is erkend door alle landen van de Europese Unie en door Noorwegen, Liechtenstein en IJsland. Producten en diensten met het EU Ecolabel zijn geproduceerd met een lagere milieubelasting van:• Grondstoffen• Energie• Water• Schadelijke stoffen• Afval• Verpakking

ECOCERT LABELHet Franse Ecocert keurmerk richt zich op milieuvriendelijke productie vanvoedingsmiddelen, cosmetica en kleding. Producten met het Ecocert keurmerk bevatten natuurlijke ingrediënten uit biologische teelt. Bij het Ecocert Keurmerk moeten producten minstens 95% ingrediënten van natuurlijke oorsprong bevatten. Een klein percentage synthetische stoffen is toegestaan, zoalsconserveringsmiddelen en parfum. • Het gebruik van natuurlijke ingrediënten• Zorgvuldige keuze van de verwerkte plantaardige grondstoffen• Ecologische verdraagzaamheid van ieder product• Milieu- en hulpbronbesparende productieprocessen• Biologische afbreekbaarheid van grondstoffen

ICEAHet ICEA is de belangrijkste verklarende instantie van natuurlijke cosmeti-ca in Italië. De Italiaanse vereniging van biologische landbouw (AIAB) en hetCertifi ceringsinstituut voor Milieu en Ethiek (ICEA), hebben samen met een groep van fabrikanten leidende beginselen voor natuurlijke en biologischecosmetica ontwikkeld. Cosmetica, die aan de strenge eisen van deze certifi -ceringsinstantie voldoet, ontvangt de status van biologisch. Alle stadia van het productieproces worden gecontroleerd:• Geen kunstmatige toevoegingen• Geen gebruik van gentechnologie tijdens het productieproces• Alles met betrekking tot afval, energie, vervoer en sanitaire hygiënische normen is streng geregeld • Productie en opslag worden uitgevoerd volgens strenge ecologische regels• ICEA controles worden meerdere keren per jaar uitgevoerd, ook op de productielocatie’s zelf

NORDIC ECOLABELThe Nordic Ecolabel - also known as Nordic Swan - is the environmental label of Scandinavian countries (Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark) and Iceland. The label was introduced in 1989 by politicians of these countries to make people more environmentally conscious and allow products and services to be more sustainable. The Nordic Ecolabel is comparable to the Dutch ‘Milieukeur’. Products with this logo are one of the least environmentally damaging of their kind. When creating the criteria that holders of the Ecolabel must meet, the following have been taken into account: • Energy• Chemicals / Hazardous substances• Waste• Packaging

ECOCERT LABELThe French Ecocert label focuses on environmentally friendly production of foods, cosmetics, and clothing. Products with the Ecocert label contain natural ingredi-ents from organic farming.Ecocert products must contain at least 95% ingredients of natural origin. A small percentage of synthetic substances are permitted, such as preservatives and perfumes. • The use of natural ingredients• Careful selection of processed plant materials• Ecological tolerance of each product• Environmental and resource-saving production• Biodegradability of raw materials

ICEAICEA is the main certifying body of natural cosmetics in Italy. The Italian Asso-ciation of Organic Agriculture (AIAB) and the Certifi cation Institute for Environ-mental and Ethics (ICEA), along with a group of manufacturers, have created guiding principles for natural and organic cosmetics. Cosmetics that meet the stringent requirements of the certifi cation authority are labeled as biological. All stages of the production process are inspected:• No artifi cial additives• No use of gene technology in the production process• Everything related to waste, energy, transport, and sanitary hygiene standards is strictly regulated• Production and storage are performed under strict ecological regulations• ICEA inspections take place several times per year, also at the production sites themselves

Een doypack is een luxe sachet voorzien van een hersluitbare schroefdop. Doypacks zijn staand te plaatsen, eventueel met een display in de vorm van een strip met drie danwel vier uitsparingen. Met een doypack wordt er 70% CO²- en afvalreductie gerealiseerd ten opzichte van fl esjes met dezelfde inhoud.

A doypack is a luxury sachet with a reclosable screw cap. Doypacks can be placed standing up, perhaps with a display in the form of a strip with three or four holes. They produce 70% less CO² and waste in comparison to bottles with the same contents.
