HOLY FAMILY ST. VINCENT DE PAUL SOCIETY CONFERENCE 10/01/17-9/30/18 FISCAL REPORT

Dear Parishioners, The members of Holy Family ‘s Society of St. Vincent de Paul (SVdP) thank you very much for your generosity during SVdP 2017-2018 Fiscal Year. Your donations on each 5th Sunday during the year made it possible for us to assist 871 persons in need this year. Your donations also made it possible for us to assist additional persons through a co-pay system wherein SVdP conference reaches out to other conferences who are helping those in need. In December 2017, you donated $1,210.00 for new and expectant mothers through Real Options’ “Tree of Life” and you made Christmas a lot brighter for families by donating 183 gifts and 10 gift cards to Sacred Heart Community Services for their “Christmas Toy Box”. In August 2018 you helped students by donating 47 filled back-packs, 11 bags of school supplies, 19 gift cards. All were delivered to Sacred Heart Community Services for their Back-Pack Drive. Because of your food donations we were able to help 136 families from our food pantry and 38 families received a food basket at Easter. Starting balance for the Fiscal Year 2017-2018 was: $6,621. We do our best to help them with their emergency needs. Some are homeless, lack food, face eviction from their home, are in danger of having their power or water turned off or have other crises with which they need help. Without your continued generosity we would not be able to assist them in their need. Our heartfelt “Thank you” for living your Christian Faith by helping those who are in need.
