3. GUARANTEE

3.1 GUARANTEE Draper tools have been carefully tested and inspected before shipment and are guaranteed to be free from defective materials and workmanship. Should the tool develop a fault, please return the complete tool to your nearest distributor or contact Draper Tools Limited, Chandler's Ford, Eastleigh, Hampshire, S053 1YF. England. Telephone Sales Desk: (023) 8049 4333 or Product Helpline (023) 8049 4344. A proof of purchase must be provided with the tool. If upon inspection it is found that the fault occurring is due to defective materials or workmanship, repairs will be carried out free of charge. This guarantee period covering parts/labour is 12 months from the date of purchase except where tools are hired out when the guarantee period is 90 days from the date of purchase. This guarantee does not apply to normal wear and tear, nor does it cover any damage caused by misuse, careless or unsafe handling, alterations, accidents, or repairs attempted or made by any personnel other than the authorised Draper warranty repair agent. Note: If the tool is found not to be within the terms of warranty, repairs and carriage charges will be quoted and made accordingly. This guarantee applies in lieu of any other guarantee expressed or implied and variations of its terms are not authorised. 4.3 HANDLING & STORAGE Do not drop the inspection lamp as this can damage and shorten the life span of the unit. Store in a dry location as damp conditions can damage the inspection lamp. Charging on a regular basis is advised to prolong the life of the battery cells.

7. UNPACKING & CHECKING

7.1 PACKAGING Carefully remove the product from the packaging and examine it for any sign of damage causedduring shipping. Lay the contents out and check them. If any part is damaged or missing, do not attempt to use the tool and contact the Draper Helpline immediately (see back page for details). Retain the packaging material at least during the guarantee period: in case the product needs to be returned for repair. Warning! Some of the packaging materials used may be harmful to children, keep them out of reach from children. Disposed of any packaging correctly and according to local regulations.

8. PREPARING THE INSPECTION LAMP

8.1 CHARGING - FIG.1 Connect the charging USB C socket (I), which is located on the rear of the inspection lamp. Connect the 230V charger to a power supply and turn it on. The charging indicator LED @ will illuminate to show the charging has started. NOTE: The charging indicator remains lit and does not extinguish when the lamp is fully charged. Disconnect the charger from the inspection lamp when it has been charged for a sufficient time. FIG.1

9. OPERATING THE INSPECTION LAMP

9.1 OPERATION - FIG.2 CAUTION: Never shine the LED light directly into your or anyone else's eyes. To run through the sequence of modes (3W SMD LED, 7W COB LEDs and off), press the on/off © button. The lamp can be suspended on 360° swivel hooks ® or attached by the magnets ® and ® located on the rear or base of the lamp. During operation, the battery indicator LEDs will illuminate to show battery charge level.

Keep the inspection lamp clean from dirt and grease, using a damp cloth. Do not submerge in water.
