يىظىعبد هبيخ1. The job I would like to do when I leave \

finish school

I don't know from where to begin because this

matter occupies my attention. No one can deny that

job plays an important and vital role in our life.

In the following lines, I‟m going to write about the

job I would like to do when I finish school. Firstly I

would like to say that every one of us has a dream

and he or she tries his best to achieve it. I myself

have had a dream since I was a child. I dream of

being a doctor. I want to be a doctor for many

reasons. Firstly, it is a respected job and I want to

achieve my parents‟ wish. Secondly, I want to help

the sick and the ill to recover from their illness. I

want to draw a smile on the face of the sick. To

achieve this dream I have to study hard to join the

faculty of medicine. I also need to be very good at

English because all the subjects in the faculty of

medicine are taught in English. Finally, I would like to

say that being a doctor is my lifelong dream.

2. Which kind of pollution is worst for

people, and why.

I don't know from where to begin because this

matter occupies my attention. There is no doubt that

Pollution is one of the most serious problems which

threaten our life at present. There are many kinds of

pollution; air pollution, Water pollution, noise

pollution, light pollution …etc. I think Water pollution

is worst for people.

No one can deny that water is the source of life.

Without water, there would be no life on the earth.

People, animals and plants need water to survive.

Rivers, seas, lakes, wells and underground springs

are all sources of water. However, man began to

pollute these sources by throwing waste, rubbish and

drains into them. To solve the problem of water

pollution, people should be aware of the dangers of

polluting water. Polluted water can cause many

dangerous diseases. As a result, factories should not

be built by rivers or seas.

Governments should make restrict laws against

polluting water. Finally, I would like to say we should

not pollute the water which enables us to live.

3. The importance of eating healthy food

In the following lines, I‟m going to write about

healthy food. Indeed it is one of the most important

topics that deserve to be discussed. First of all, I

would like to say that health is very important and to

enjoy a good health, the one should be careful with

the food he eats or the water he drinks. People

should eat natural and fresh food instead of food that

contains artificial ingredients and preservatives.

People can prepare the food they like at home

instead of eating outside especially in unreliable

restaurants. Moreover, the water we drink is part and

parcel of this topic because pollution destroyed

everything around us. It is now known that the Nile

water has become more polluted so it is very

important to drink clean water. People should not

drink directly from taps. They should boil it before

drinking or at least have water filters. Finally, I would

like to say your food is your medicine so it is very

important to eat healthy food and drink pure water.

4. Using animals in scientific experiments

In the following lines, I‟m going to write about using

animals in scientific experiments. Indeed, it is one of

the most important topics that deserve to be

discussed. Firstly, I would like to say that people may

be divided into two groups concerning this topic.

Some are for using animals in scientific experiments,

others are not. People who are for this think that

using animals is better than humans as humans are

superior to animals. They say that Allah created man

to master the universe and everything is for his

service. On the other hand, there are some people

who are against this idea as they think that animals

have rights as humans. Those people also think that

we as humans don't have the right to torture or hurt

animals. Finally, I would like to say that I'm the party

who are for using animals in scientific experiments

because a human's soul is more precious than an

animal's soul.

5. A famous writer.

I don't know from where to begin because this

matter occupies my attention .In the following lines,

I‟m going to write about a famous writer Naguib

Mahfouz is the writer who I admire most. He was

born in Cairo in 1911. He began writing when he was

only 17. He studied philosophy at Cairo University

and graduated in 1945. He decided not to follow a

university career; instead, he worked as a civil

servant in several governmental ministries. His first

novel was published in 1939. Since then, he has

written more than 30 novels and several short

stories. He received many awards for his writing. In

1988, he was awarded the Nobel Prize for literature.

He was elected as a member of the American

Academy of Letters and Arts in 1992. In the same

year, he was awarded a doctorate by the American

University in Cairo.

6. School subject that inspires you.

In the following lines, I‟m going to write about

science which is the school subject that inspires me.

Science and technology are the features of our world

today. They have played an important role in the

different fields of life. Thanks to them, our life has

become easier. Much of our progress is resulted of

them. If we look at the latest discoveries in medicine,

engineering and space travel. Scientists and

technologists have devised new methods in the

different fields of life for a better life. The computer

and the internet are the marvels of modern

technology. Satellites are one of the latest means of

communications. The invention of planes and cars

has led to great progress in transport. They made the

world as if it is a global village. Another many of the

luxury goods we have, make our lives more

comfortable and easier. In a word, science is the way

to advance.

7. The differences between your town

now and five years ago.

Nowadays Life in big cities is very hard. People there

suffer from many problems such as over-population,

housing problems and crowded means of transport.

It takes a very long time to go from one place to

Mr.Emad Abbas 01001534956

another. There is very little cooperation among

people. Overcrowding results in many accidents.

Pollution caused by car fumes is a major cause of

many diseases. The air is unclean and impure. There

are no gardens or green areas where people can

spend nice time. But this was different five years ago.

The roads were wide and clean. There were parks.

There was less pollution. it was easy to find job

opportunity.

8. Cooperation leads to success

In fact, cooperation is essential for the success of

any work and any company. Without team work, life

would be impossible. Each member in the team does

his part cooperatively, which in turn facilitates the

work of the whole group. They do the work in a

lovely atmosphere and achieve their goals. All living

creatures are in need of cooperation to live. Any

complex or easy job can't be successfully achieved

without cooperation. Cooperation can help all

countries to overcome any threat or harm which has

a bad effect on their common interests and achieve

success in all fields. There are many situations where

groups of people such as surgeons or scientists or a

sports team need to cooperate to succeed. The

family members also should cooperate together to

lead a happy life .Animals and birds need to

cooperate. To succeed, you will have to show

tolerance and work with these people.

9. If you were the leader of a group of

children on a desert island, what rules

would you make?.

Rules are important because they help to make sure

things run smoothly and that people know what other

people will do in certain situations.

If I were the leader of a group of children on a desert

island, there are some rules I would make to

organize our new life. We must work together and

cooperate with each other Some look for food and

water, some build shelters to sleep in, others protect

us from any dangers. I will make timetable for all our

daily activities; work, having meals, sleeping, doing

exercise. If there are no rules, people don't know

what others will do in certain situations and this

makes life unpredictable.

10. a sport you would like to do

I don't know from where to begin because this matter

occupies my attention. No one can deny that sports play

an important and vital role in our life.

Playing football is my hobby this hobby began when I

was young. I joined the kafr Saqr club to practise this

sport. Playing football makes my body strong, prevents

me from getting too fat and keeps me healthy. Playing

football makes me lead a healthy and active life. I enjoy

my time and feel great happiness when I play football. It

teach me disciplineالنظام, co-operation, the sense of

belongingالشعور باالنتماء and protect me against

deviationاالنحراف and taking drugs. In the future I want to

join El Ahly club. My ambition is to be professional player

Subject my plans to solve the problems of traffic

Dear Emad,

I am very happy to send you this e-mail for you. How

you are and your family. I send you this e-mail to tell

you about my plans to solve the problems of traffic.

There is no doubt that traffic jam is one of problems

that the big cities suffer from. This problem cause a

lot of road accidents every day. Thousands of people

die every year because of it. So I made some plans to

solve this problem. I and my friends can make some

posters to warn the drivers from dangers of the traffic

There are many things we can do to reduce dangers

this problem. Roads should be wide enough and well-

paved. Car makers should make cars go slower and

I‟ve just done something very special! Last weekend I

went swimming in the Red Sea with my family and

some friends. We went to Dahab and swam in the

Red sea. It was nice, and we enjoyed a lot. but

suddenly we didn‟t find one of our friends I wore my

diving equipment and began to search for him I was

very worried about him I saw my friend wearing his

diving equipment but something went wrong with it

and He couldn‟t move! an enormous fish was coming

near and I was in a tight corner. I told him to keep his

cool and to stay very still until the fish swam away

without noticing us. luckily, I managed to fix his

equipment and He could swim again. It was a close

call. The rest of the day went really well. We saw

some really friendly dolphins. The experience really

made my day. I hope I‟ll do it again one day.

Subject the story of The Iron Woman , why I like it

Dear Alex,

I am very happy to send you this e-mail for you. How

you are and your family. I am going to tell you about

the differences between your school now and your

school five years ago

I think our school is completely different from our

school five years ago. There were no computers and

internet in all schools. Students and teacher was

depending completely on the book only. The

laboratories weren‟t available at school. But now the

ministry of education cares about creating a good

citizen and a healthy young man as well. More

attention is given to sports. The computer is used

more widely. Every student benefits from the internet

in all aspects of his life. Moreover the students are

encouraged to take part in doing scientific research.

This encourages students to visit libraries more often.

Distance learning is also the feature of the learning

nowadays. Students can study everything while they

are far away from the school. They can take tapes or

CD's to enable them to study their subjects at home.

We can imagine a more different shape of school than

what we see nowadays.
