What?Non residential facility for temporarely non-schoolables from secondary schools in Antwerp. Pupils were expelledEnrolement in another school is not a solution.

Mission

• To replace school ;• Stay must be as short as possible, as long as necessary;• Programm fits the youngster ;• To lead youngsters back to education or employment•Supports schools

• Pupil was enroled in secondary education in Antwerp

• Expelled;

• Advice from Central helpdesk;

• Labeled as ‘temporarely non schoolable’

• Schoolcarreer in many different schools;

• Disruptive, agressive behaviour ;

• Severe truancy;

• Expelled (more than once);

• Demotivation;

• Complex family situation;

• Family / youngsters known in welfare;• …

• Youngsters is expelled but stays enroled in his school

• School donates ‘hours teacher’ for every pupil send to SWAT

0,3 uur per month between september and january 0,4 uur between januari 1th and june. 30th

Flemish community, province, city and free catholic schools agreed to work together
