Before I begin my diary for one week, I am going to introduce myself to you so

you know who you!re dealing with.

I!m Dieuwertje Heuvelings, 19 years old and living in the centre of Amsterdam.

Currently I work at a booking agency and I!m in my second year Media and

Entertainment Management. I also write for Rassion Magazine that!s a Dutch

blog from me and my friends. I live with my closest friend in a beautiful apartment

close to dam square, I!m in a relationship for over a year now with the best Dutch

upcoming writer James Worthy. Venlo is my native city its 200 km from Amsterdam

near the German border, my father and my sister still live there same with some

good friends of mine. Amsterdam is the most beautiful city on the planet and

wherever I want to live in my further life I want to end here, in Holland!s Venetia.

I love music, I could not think of a life without it. The genres I listen to the most are

Soul, Jazz and Hip Hop. I read a lot, I like reading historic novels about normal

people in a different century. History is one of my great passions I want to know

everything about everything. I also like to spend time at the cinema; the smell of

popcorn and the great seats make me want to go back time and time again. (This

hobby fits very nice with my interest in movies.)

What else is there to know about me? The casual stuff that I like to: dress up,

work, eat mangos, go to markets, smell washed laundry, go to parties, tease

my boyfriend!s little cat, look at beautiful art especially Salvador Dali, watch

Comedy Central, go to concerts, take Polaroid pictures and celebrate my life with

everybody around me. And I hate to ride a bicycle and rude young people who

don!t stand up for old people in the bus, tram or metro.
