About the DESIGNER Freida Rothman is a busy NYC woman who grew up in a family that worked in the jewelry industry. Her love for jewelry started at a very young age, and she naturally found herself designing for private label lines early on in her career. After years as a designer for other collections, Freida wanted to branch out and start a line of her own. Freida Rothman jewelry was launched in 2010 as a collection of distinctive, well-made and accessibly priced jewelry. Freida travels the world, drawing inspiration from the various cultures and surroundings of the locations she visits. She understands how a woman wants to look when adding jewelry to an outfit, and as a mother of four, she understands that jewelry needs to be functional as well as beautiful. Her jewelry varies from simple to ornate, but Freida always makes sure she puts her own original touches on each piece. Freida currently designs and lives in New York City with her husband, two daughters and two sons.
