Selene Tropiano is an i ta l ian designer based in London graduated in 2008 at the prest ig ious

Ist i tuto Marangoni in Mi lan wi th background of studies in

Arts and Archi tectures.

After working several years for internat ional top and luxury brands such as DKNY Men,

LVMH - Thomas Pink, Viv ienne Westwood, she decided in 2014 to move on and create her own label ,

TROPIANO : contemporary menswear ent i re ly made in i ta ly.

TROPIANO bel ieves in the strong relat ionship between arts, design and archi tecture as we al l l ive and bui ld

the space around us by modify ing colours, shapes and l ights, both through our act ions and the way we dress,

showing our personal i ty and ideals.

These themes are the main inspirat ions in designing soft ly structured wearable pieces with al ternat ive design

detai ls, matching natural tones and mixed textures.

The classic menswear fabr ics play an important role in the s i lhouettes, apparent ly miss proport ioned on the

body they perfect ly balance

formal and informal for a luxury casual look l ike an harmonic art composi t ion where qual i ty meets design.

A calm and meditat ive mood ref lect the essent ia l i ty of a “soothing design ” where“heret ical ” is the approach to a new and di fferent way of seeing and thinking a

design that gives shape to our dai ly l i fe in a more int imate and emot ional journey

Our SS16 Man moves in a moral enquiry and a search of equi l ibr ium and meaning,showing a quirky mannerism and an introspect ive personal i ty.
