– AMD offers blogs, forums, and calendars. The virtual Idea Box allows employees to submit ideas of any type.

– Altran’s intranet has collaborative spaces, both public (accessible to all employees) and private (accessible to members only). The intranet also lets employees broadcast requests for help, and mark those requests as “urgent” when appropriate and as “solved” once the issue has been addressed.

– BASF integrates Ajax and various social networking applications. The homepage’s Info-Film shows a current video.

– The COWI A/S intranet supports document and task handling, while its In Common With You section highlights common interests when a user views a colleague’s profile.

– The DTT intranet encourages user participation through polls and calls for story and video submissions, and encourages comments on a variety of blogs, including one from the CEO. The intranet’s TV network lets employees add their own videos, a la YouTube. And After Hours offers a peek into employees’ personal interests.

– ERM makes use of blogs and wikis, while the site’s interactive forum lets employees seek urgent advice/input from colleagues.
