In2structures is a specialist design and manufacturing company, producing custom designed, portable venues for hire or sale. The In2structures Domes differ greatly from the conventional aluminium framed structures such as marquees, due to their ability to withstand large imposed loads such as suspended equipment and high wind pressures. These structures offer an apex height equal to half the width and demonstrate exceptional safety factors. Dome venues offer an alternative solution to conventional arena venues at a fraction of the cost. All structural elements are manufactured to the highest standards from high tensile steel which uses (Hot dip) galvanizing to prevent corrosion. The “Duraskin” outer membranes are supplied by Verseidag (Germany) and installed using the Keder method of drawing Duraskin through the Aluminium Extrusions (RSA) ensuring a water tight seal over the entire structure. The membrane covering is extended above the structure to allow easy access for rigging of Lighting, Audio, AV and Set elements. Duraskin is available in various colours including white external / black internal and white / white with blockout. “Duraskin” has a 5 - 10 year life dependant on the U.V. zone. Clear membranes are available for short term use only. These versatile venues can be configured in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit your needs and event type simply by adding additional "bays" along the length of the structure. Acoustic treatment for SP Dome Ongoing developments to the acoustics and a careful selection of materials ensures that presenters and musicians alike will be able to deliver their message in a clear and effortless fashion. The Flat Truss Dome
The Flat Truss Dome was designed with the same basic principles as the Maxi Dome in mind, but with one additional goal - to minimise transport and shipping space, i.e. the 13bay 60m Flat Truss Dome packs into 2 x 12m
containers and can be flown to any destination on an Illusion IL76.
With additional bracing, the structure has been certified to accommodate a UDL of 1.5 tons per arch. The structure
was an immediate success, with the ZIP ZAP Circus School purchasing and placing a 13 Bay FT dome in Cape Town.

The Maxi Dome Our vision with the Maxi Dome was to create a unique venue that was both portable and practical for events. With
this in mind, we have achieved a structure that is easy to install and user friendly in terms of rigging lighting, sound and audio visual equipment. One of the main attractions of the Maxi Dome is the height of the structure,
which enables clients to produce some of the most creative and spectacular events, using silk acts, flown product
reveals and concert set ups.
The Maxi Dome is the second generation of Dome Venues and is the temporary venue of choice in South Africa for The Joy of Jazz concerts, Metro FM Awards and SABC Vuka Sizwe awards. Following its touring success, a single
bay Maxi Dome known as “The Round House” has been placed permanently at “The Constitution Hill”, home of South Africa's highest court.
The Maxi Dome has recently become an internationally recognized temporary venue, with structures in South Africa, Dubai and Israel.

The Supa Dome The Supa Dome is currently under fabrication and will boast a super sized width of 33,7m and Height of 15,8 m.
The SP Dome is destined to be the flagship of In2Structures' Dome Venues. This venue will retain the shape of the
Maxi Dome whilst offering an extended width of 33m and rigging height of 15,5m internally. The increased size
does not compromise loading capacity in any way - the SP Dome can accommodate over 2,5 ton loading per arch and additional arches can be added ( every 3 m across each 6m bay) to increase points and loading capacity, if
required.
In2Structures has invested in heavy-duty Tri Keder extrusion to suit the wide spans and girder arrangements of the new SP Dome.
The introduction of a fork and pin system dramatically speeds up assembly time, so that a 3200 m2 SP Dome can be installed within the same time frame as a 2100 m2 Maxi Dome.
