Het jaar 2014 ligt voor ons. Dat houdt in dat we een nieuw dek-seizoen tegemoet gaan vol hoge verwachtingen. Ook dit jaar zijn wij trots u een uitzonderlijke collectie hengsten te mogen aanbieden die deze verwachtingen waar kunnen maken.

Het afgelopen jaar zagen we op landelijk niveau een stabili-satie van het aantal dekkingen. Na jaren van teruggang was dit een signaal dat de markt goed kon gebruiken. Ook op ge-bied van veulenveilingen was er een mooie ontwikkeling te zien. De Nederlandse veulenveilingen lieten een duidelijke op-waartse trend zien. Dit zijn positieve voortekenen voor 2014.

In het komende dekseizoen staat u weer voor de belangrijke keuze welke hengst u gaat gebruiken. Onze hengsten beschik-ken over zeer correcte exterieurs. Dat, in combinatie met de topsportgenen, maakt onze hengsten tot een echte aanvul-ling op de springpaardenfokkerij. In onze filosofie zijn deze twee aspecten sterk verankerd. Het één mag niet toegeven aan het ander.

De moederlijnen van onze hengsten zijn direct terug te voeren op de absolute pijlers van de Nederlandse springpaardenfok-kerij, zoals de Niki-, Balia- en Lotti-stam. Deze merriestammen die verenigd zijn in onze hengsten mogen met recht bijzonder genoemd worden.

Stal Hendrix wenst alle fokkers veel geluk en succes in 2014.

2014 lies ahead of us. This means the start of a new covering season filled with high expectations. We are once again proud to be able to present you with an exceptional collection of stal-lions that are able to meet these expectations.

Last year we saw, at a national level, a stabilisation in the num-ber of coverings. After years of decline, this was a positive sig-nal that the market was waiting for. Favourable developments were also seen in the foal auctions. In general, the Dutch foal auctions showed a clear upward trend. These are all positive omens for 2014.

The coming covering season presents you once again with the important decision regarding which stallion to use. Our stal-lions have very correct exteriors. This, in combination with the top sport genes, makes our stallions true additions to the bree-ding of jumping horses. These two aspects are deep-rooted in our philosophy. The one cannot concede to the other.

The dam-lines of our stallion can be traced directly back to the absolute pillars of Dutch jumping horse breeding, such as the Niki-, Balia- en Lotti-dam-lines. The fact that these dam-lines are united in our stallions can, quite rightly, be called excep-tional.

UstinovDe nakomelingen van Ustinov kunnen als geen ander scha-kelen boven de sprong en beschikken over veel techniek. Ze openen achter zeer goed en hebben lef. Zelf presteer-de Ustinov op 1.50m niveau onder de amazone Caroline Müller. Al direct vanaf het ontvangen van zijn KWPN dek-brevet, en zelfs daarvoor al, kon Ustinov rekenen op het ver-trouwen van fokkers. Inmiddels is Ustinov twaalf jaar oud en is het nog steeds een zeer gewilde hengst.

De schoonheid en de springkwaliteiten van Ustinov zijn verankerd in zijn pedigree. Zijn vader Libero H won met Jos Lansink vele prijzen waaronder de wereldbekerfinale in ’s-Hertogenbosch in 1994. Ustinovs moeder Haifa is een keur preferente prestatiemerrie. Zij gaf eerder al de KWPN hengst Nijinski. De KWPN dekhengst Glendale en het inter-nationale springpaard Vasco da Gama komen ook uit deze populaire merrielijn.

Ustinov is een echt vaderdier dat veel kwaliteiten doorgeeft, met name vermogen en voorzichtigheid. Hij past het best bij een merrie die zelf lengte, bloed en formaat heeft. De merrie Anatevka (Ustinov x Pierrot) is een nakomeling van Ustinov. Zij presteert momenteel op 1.40m niveau onder Pieter Keunen. Het paard Backstory werd via de Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2012 verkocht en wordt nu door Jennifer Rossire op 1.40m niveau uitgebracht in Amerika.

Ustinov’s offspring can bascule over a jump like no other, and have excellent technique. They open up behind well and are not afraid. Ustinov himself per-formed at 1.50m-level ridden by rider Caroline Müller. Immediately after receiving his KWPN stud certificate, and even beforehand, Ustinov could count on the trust of breeders. Ustinov is now twelve years old and he is still a much-desired stallion.

The beautiful type and jumping ability of Ustinov are anchored in his pedigree. His sire Libero H, ridden by Jos Lansink, was the winner of the World Cup in ‘s- Hertogenbosch in 1994. Ustinov’s dam, keur preferent performance mare Haifa, also gave birth to the KWPN stud Nijinski and the international show jumper Vasco da Gama.

The beautiful Libero H-son is a true sire that passes on many qualities, especially ability and carefulness. Ustinov can best be used for mares that herself has height, body and some pedigree. The mare Anatevka (Ustinov x Pierrot) is Ustinov’s offspring. She is currently acting on 1.40m-level with Pieter Keunen. The horse Backstory was sold via de Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2012 and is now competing at 1.40m-level with Jennifer Rossire in America.

VittorioDe KWPN goedgekeurde hengst Vittorio maakte furore in de springsport onder Pieter Keunen. Zij acteerden interna-tionaal op 1.50 niveau. Momenteel wordt de hengst gere-den door Tim van den Oetelaar. Vittorio leverde Fandango die reservekampioen werd in de kampioenskeuring tij-dens de hengstenkeuring in 2013.

Vittorio won vele internationale prijzen waaronder een tweede plaats in de Grote Prijs van Zelhem en Asten. Dit deed hij onder Pieter Keunen. Met ruiter Tim van den Oetelaar nam Vittorio in 2012 deel aan de landenwedstrijd voor junioren in het Franse Reims. Het Nederlands team won de finale. In de Grand Prix werd de combinatie indi-vidueel tweede.

De bekendste zoon van Vittorio is Don Diablo. Don Diablo won met Pieter Keunen de hengstencompetitie (D-jaargang) in januari 2013 tijdens de hengstenkeuring. Veel van Vittorio’s nakomelingen deden het goed op vei-lingen, zoals Daister L. Deze ruin werd als vijfjarige op de Dutch Sport Horse Sales in 2013 naar Amerika verkocht voor € 100.000,-

Net als Vittorio zelf zijn de nakomelingen ongecompli-ceerd en meewerkend en bezitten ze voorzichtigheid en fantastische rijkwaliteiten. Door het vele bloed dat hij be-zit, kan Vittorio echt als veredelaar ingezet worden.

The in 2005 KWPN approved stallion Vittorio caused a furore in show jumping ridden by Pieter Keunen. They competed internationally at 1.50m-level. The stallion is currently being ridden by Tim van den Oetelaar. Vittorio produced Fandango, the reserve champion in the stallion show in’s-Hertogenbosch in 2013.

Vittorio won many international prices. At international level he was runner-up in the Grand Prix of Zelhem and Asten. Rider Tim van den Oetelaar and Vittorio took part in the Junior Nations Cup in the Reims, France. They were part of the Dutch team and won in the finals. In the Grand Prix the combination won individual second place.

His most well-known son is Don Diablo (Vittorio x Calvados). This stallion, ridden by Pieter Keunen, won the stallion competition (D-year) in January 2013 during the stallion competition in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Many of Vittorio’s offspring have done well at auctions such as the horse Daister L. This gelding was sold to America as a five-year-old at the Dutch Sport Horse Sales for € 100.000,-

Just as Vittorio himself, his offspring are uncomplicated, cooperative, careful and have excellent riding qualities. Vittorio can improve the conformation and movements of well-developed jumping mares. Vittorio can be used as a true refiner thanks to his excellent pedigree.

BustiqueBustique heeft een pedigree om van te dromen. Op zijn paspoort staan namelijk vier generaties topverervers. Alle vier - Indoctro, Grannus, Argentinus en Zeus - staan of stonden ze in de top tien van de World Breeding Rankings. Zijn moeder Jutha gaf het internationale springpaard Noor dat onder Carry Huis in ’t Veld enkele internationale prijzen won. Het 1.35m paard Uiltje van Leon Kuijpers is ook een nakomeling van Jutha.

Bustique is een op en top sportpaard. Hij is werkwillig en voor een hengst is hij zeer nuchter. De hoogtepunten van Bustique en zijn ruiter Michel Hendrix zijn de klasse-ringen tijdens de zes- en zevenjarigen rubrieken in CSI2* Wierden, CSI2* Neeroeteren en CSI2* Roosendaal. Dit jaar verscheen de combinatie voor het eerst aan de start tij-dens CSI3* concoursen. Hier behaalden ze onder andere goede klasseringen tijdens CSI3*Zandhoven.

De eerste jaargang van deze jonge dekhengst bracht al direct de merrie Footloose (Bustique x Concorde). Zij werd in 2013 uitgeroepen tot nationaal kampioen bij de driejarige springmerries. Footloose bevestigd dat Bustique techniek en vermogen kan toevoegen aan de springpaardenfokkerij. Zijn nakomelingen staan goed in het springpaardenmodel en beschikken over een correct gesteld fundament.

Bustique has a pedigree to dream about. He has four generations of topproducers in his pedigree. All four - Indoctro, Grannus, Argentinus and Zeus - are, or were, listed in the top ten of the World Breeding Rankings. His dam Jutha also produced the international jumping horse Noor (s. Libero H). Carry Huis in ‘t Veld won several international competitions with Noor. Leon Kuijpers’s 1.35m horse Uiltje (Lux x Grannus) is also a Jutha off-spring.

Bustique is a real sport horse. He is always willing to work and for a stallion he has an incredibly laid-back na-ture. The highlight for rider Michel Hendrix and Bustique are the classifications during the six- and seven-year-old classes in CSI2* Wierden, CSI2* Neeroeteren and CSI2* Roosendaal. This year the combination took part in their first CSI3* competitions. They were classed during the CSI3* Zandhoven.

The first year of Bustiques offspring immediately gave Footloose (Bustique x Concorde). This mare from 2010 was crowned champion of the three-year-old jumping mares in 2013. Footloose confirms that Bustique can add technique and ability to the breeding of jumping horses. The foals have a nice jumping model and cor-rectly built fundament.

Don DiabloOnder Pieter Keunen was Don Diablo oppermachtig tijdens de KWPN Hengstencompetitie (D-jaargang) in 2013. Maar ook dít jaar is hij goed op weg om er opnieuw met de over-winning vandoor te gaan. Hij staat op de eerste plaats in het tussenklassement met nog maar één wedstrijd te gaan. Als springpaard helpt het hem ontzettend dat hij zeer voorzich-tig is en een formidabele springtechniek bezit. Ook toont hij veel vermogen en schitterende reflexen.

Don Diablo is een telg uit de wereldberoemde Niki-stam. Deze stam bracht een ontelbare hoeveelheid getalenteerde sportpaarden, zoals Apollo van Nick Skelton die samen de Grand Prix van Aken wonnen. Maar ook Hickstead, die via Ekstein uit de directe moederlijn van Don Diablo komt. Promiss Me, het Olympiade paard van Ian Millar én de ruin Lajos die 1.50m sprong onder Peter Geerink zijn ook afkom-stig uit de Niki-stam. Zolaniki, de moeder van Don Diablo, werd in Nederland tot Z niveau opgeleid en springt inmid-dels 1.40m in Noorwegen.

De in 2011 goedgekeurde voshengst doet veel aan zijn va-der Vittorio denken. Bloedgemaakt, aansprekend model en een ruime lichtvoetige galop. Kenmerkend aan Don Diablo is ook het sprekende hoofd en zijn uitstraling. De voshengst kan techniek en souplesse toevoegen aan de springpaar-denfokkerij. Hij lijkt het beste te passen bij merries die over front beschikken.

Don Diablo became overall winner of the stallion competi-tion (D-year) during the KWPN Stallion Show in 2013. But he is likely to win again this year. They are first in the interim standings, with only one competition still to go. It helps him as a sport horse that he is very careful and has exceptional jumping technique. He also shows much ability and perfect reflexes.

Don Diablo is an offspring out of the world famous Niki-bloodline. This bloodline produced an innumerable num-ber of talented sport horses. For example: Apollo of Nick Skelton that won the Grand Prix of Aachen together. But also Hickstead, via Ekstein he comes from the direct dam-line as Don Diablo. Promiss Me, the Olympia horse of Ian Millar and the gelding Lajos that jumped 1.50m under Peter Geerink also come from the Niki-bloodline. Zolaniki, Don Diablo’s dam, was trained to Z-level in The Netherlands and is now competing at 1.40m-level in Norway.

Vijftien jaar geleden heeft Stal Hendrix besloten niet totaal afhankelijk te willen zijn van het kopen van paarden in de markt. Paul en Emile zagen de meerwaarde van een fokke-rij die aansluit bij de filosofie van de handelsstal. Namelijk fokproducten brengen die een rol kunnen gaan spelen in de internationale springsport. Ze kopen merries die zich bewe-zen hebben in de sport. Hoofdzakelijk in Amerika en Europa. Deze merries worden teruggehaald naar Nederland. De fok-kerij van Stal Hendrix kreeg door de inzet van deze merries een sterker fundament.

De stammoeders die uit Amerika zijn teruggehaald zoals Liberty, My Girl, Isabella en Bonita worden nu opgevolgd door de tweede of derde generatie. Het aantal fokmerries is inmiddels uitgebreid naar vijfentwintig, allemaal afkomstig uit prestatiestammen. Dit heeft onder andere geresulteerd in de goedgekeurde hengsten Don Diablo en Fandango. Maar ook de Bustique-merrie Footloose.

Inmiddels is Stal Hendrix op een punt aangekomen dat de eigen jonge fokproducten een verbetering kunnen zijn voor mensen die naar een hoger niveau in de fokkerij willen. Stal Hendrix kan van toegevoegde waarde zijn wanneer een fok-ker bijvoorbeeld op zoek is naar jonge merries met een top-pedigree. De selectie is immers al gedaan. Geïnteresseerden worden voorzien van een eerlijk advies dat aansluit bij het fokdoel.

Fifteen years ago Stal Hendrix decided that it did not want to be totally reliant on the sale of horses to the market. Paul and Emile saw the added value of a breeding farm that corre-sponds with the philosophy of the trading stable. Specifically, produce breeding products that can play a role in the interna-tional jumping sport. In the beginning they looked for mares who had proven themselves in the sport. Mainly in America and Europe. They noticed that they gave their business a stronger foundation through the addition of own-bred foals.

The pedigree dams that they brought back from America such as Liberty, My Girl, Isabella and Bonita are now being succeeded by the second or third generation. Since then, they have expanded the number of brood mares to 25, all originating from performance bloodlines. This has resulted in the approved stallions Don Diablo and Fandango. But also the Bustique-mare Footloose.

They have now reached the point where their young home-bred products can offer an improvement to people wishing to progress to a higher level in breeding. Stal Hendrix can be of added value for example if a breeder is looking for young mares with a top pedigree. They have, after all, already done a lot of selection for them. For those people interested they provide them with honest advice that corresponds to the breeding objective.

El PrimeroEl Primero heeft het allemaal. Hij spring, draaft en galop-peert uitzonderlijk goed. Het is een heerlijk paard om mee te werken waarvan de kwaliteit zich al toont in zijn exterieur en uitstraling.

Tijdens het verrichtingsonderzoek leek El Primero al veel-belovend. Inmiddels kunnen we met zekerheid stellen dat hij veelbelovend ís. Onder Pieter Keunen staat El Primero steevast bovenaan in de uitslagenlijsten van de KWPN Hengstencompetitie. Zo werden ze derde in Roosendaal en staat de combinatie na Zuidbroek vijfde in het tussenklas-sement met nog maar één wedstrijd te gaan.

De in 2009 geboren zoon van Numero Uno is een intel-ligente hengst. Numero Uno zelf kan beschouwd worden als de beste vererver van dit moment. Een enorm aantal van zijn nakomelingen is momenteel succesvol tot het op het hoogste niveau in de springsport. Met maar liefst acht KWPN goedgekeurde zonen en tal van internationale sport-paarden is hij een bekende in de Nederlandse fokkerij. Maar ook wereldwijd geniet Numero Uno veel bekendheid. Naast een wereldberoemde vader heeft El Primero ook nog eens een bekende moederlijn. Zijn pedigree gaat rechtstreeks terug op de goed springende Voltaire-merrie Especiale die met Eric van der Vleuten grote successen boekte. Het werkbare karakter en de wil om te werken van Especiale zijn terug te zien in El Primero.

El Primero has it all. His jumping, trot and canter are ex-ceptional. He is a dream to work with, whose quality al-ready can be seen from his confirmation and expression.

El Primero already seemed to be very promising during the performance test. We can now say for certain that he is very promising. Ridden by Pieter Keunen, El Primero is invariably at the top of the results lists in the KWPN Stallion Competition. They were third in Roosendaal and are fifth in the interim standings after Zuidbroek, with one competition still to go.

The in 2009-born son of Numero Uno is an intelligent stallion. Numero Uno himself can be seen as the best sire of this era. His offspring is very successful in the in-ternational sport. With no fewer than eight KWPN ap-proved sons and many international sport horses, he is wellknown in Dutch breeding. Numero Uno is also well-known worldwide.

As well as a world famous father, El Primero also has a well-known dam-line. His pedigree goes straight back to the good jumping mare Especiale who had many suc-cesses with Eric van der Vleuten. The character and de-sire to work of Especiale can be recognized in El Primero too.

EntertainerDe pedigree van Entertainer is een opeenstapeling van topgenen. Aan vaderszijde zien we Warrant, Corland en Voltaire. Drie hengsten die hun sporen in de internationale springsport ruimschoots verdiend hebben. Entertainer be-schikt over een topexterieur, modern model en bloederige uitstraling. Hij is hoogbenig en zeer aansprekend. In 2009 ontving hij prachtige verrichtingscijfers met onder andere een 8,5 voor zijn galop en een 8 voor houding, balans en techniek. Inmiddels is zijn eerste generatie nakomelingen geboren. Deze veulens maken een veelbelovende indruk.

Een echt vaderdier: zo kan de grote Warrant-zoon nu al worden omschreven. De jonge hengst kreeg een zeer goed veulenrapport. Hij geeft nakomelingen die veel op hem lijken, met front en uitstraling. De veulens toonden drie goede gangen waarbij de galop gekenmerkt werd door veel afdruk en balans. Verder stelde de commissie dat Entertainer model, front, galoppade, ras en springtechniek kan toevoegen aan de springpaardenfokkerij.

Entertainer wordt getraind en uitgebracht door Pieter Keunen. In 2013 werd de combinatie derde in de VION-Cup voor vierjarigen. Goede sportresultaten komen vaak voor in de moederlijn van Entertainer. Moeder Shilvasca Fortuna is ook de moeder van Cooper (v. Carolus II) die voor €105.000,- werd verkocht tijdens de Expo Talent Sale.

Entertainer’s pedigree is an accumulation of top genes. On his sire’s side we find Warrant, Corland and Voltaire. Three stallions that have amply earned their spurs in the interna-tional jumping sport. Entertainer has a modern body and sharp expression. He is high-legged and very expressive. In 2009, his report praised his strong canter, which was award-ed with an 8.5. He scored an eight for technique and bal-ance. His first offspring was born this year. These foals make a very promising impression.

A true sire: that is how the big Warrant-son can already be described. The young stallion received a very good foal report. He produces offspring who resemble him a lot in terms of appearance and charisma. During his progeny test it emerged that his foals are correctly built and have sound legs. The foals showed three good paces whereby the can-ter was characterized by good take-off and balance. The committee also stated that Entertainer could add model, appearance, galoppade, pedigree and jumping technique to the breeding of jumping horses.

Entertainer is trained and competed by Pieter Keunen. The combination became third at the VION-Cup for four-year-olds. Good results often appear in the dam-line of Entertainer. Mother Shilvsca Fortuna is also the mother of Cooper (by Carolus II) who was sold for € 105.000,- at the Expo Talent Sale.

De zeer patente Fandango werd in 2013 reservekampioen tijdens de KWPN hengstenkeuring in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. Volgens de keuringscommissie beschikt Fandango over veel inzet en uitstekende reflexen. Ook zijn rijdbaarheid werd zeer positief beoordeeld. Fandango is een nakome-ling van de internationale springhengst Vittorio (Calippo x Martel XX). Vittorio nam in 2009 deel aan de wereldkampi-oenschappen voor jonge paarden in Lanaken onder Pieter Keunen. Sindsdien heeft Vittorio een glorieuze carrière op-gebouwd met overwinningen in het 1.50m.

Ook aan Fandango’s moederszijde is zijn pedigree specta-culair te noemen. Hij is namelijk een telg uit de zeer suc-cesvolle Balia-stam. Deze stam bracht al legio superatle-ten voort als Hamlet; de vader van Olympisch kampioen Hickstead, maar ook Olympisch springpaard Pybalia, dat onder Philippe Guerdat deelnam aan de Olympische Spelen in Los Angeles. De supermerrie Nirmette won onder Marcus Fuchs alleen in 2007 al vijf Grote Prijzen en stond daarmee elfde op de wereldranglijst in 2007. Wimette van Michel Hendrix en Tobalio van Albert Voorn kunnen ook aan de lange lijst van Balia-winnaars toegevoegd worden.

Het pedigree van Fandango is indrukwekkend. Dat, in com-binatie met zijn bloeduitstraling en lichtvoetigheid, maakt hem een bijzondere dekhengst. In 2014 zal hij zijn opwach-ting maken in de ring.

The beautiful Fandango became the reserve champion dur-ing the KWPN stallion show in ‘s-Hertogenbosch in 2013. According to the selection committee, Fandango has the right mentality and exceptional reflexes. They were also very positive about his rideability. Fandango is an offspring of the international jumping stallion Vittorio (Calippo x Martel XX). In 2009, Vittorio took part in the World Championships for young horses in Lanaken, ridden by Pieter Keunen. Since then, he has had a glorious career with victories in several 1.50m classes.

Fandango’s dam’s side is also very spectacular. He is an off-spring out of the successful Balia dam-line. This dam-line produced many super athletes including Hamlet: the fatherof Olympic champion Hickstead. But also the jumping horse Pybalia, who took part in the Olympic Games in Los Angeles under Philippe Guerdat. The super mare Nirmette won five Grand Prix in 2007 alone and was placed 11th in the world ranking that year. Nirmette was ridden by Marcus Fuchs. Wimette, ridden by Michel Hendrix, and Tobalio, rid-den by Albert Voorn, can also be added to the long list of Balia-winners.

Fandango’s exceptional pedigree, in combination with his light-footedness and charisma makes him a special stud stallion. He will make his first appearance in the jumping sport in 2014.

First Verdi verenigt Olympisch goud én zilver. Zoals zijn naam al doet vermoeden is het Olympisch springpaard Verdi de vader van deze getalenteerde bruine hengst. Verdi won teamzilver in Londen onder Maikel van der Vleuten. Het goud wordt ingebracht door Vindicat W van Peter Charles die, net als First Verdi, ook uit de Lotti-stam komt.

Uitzonderlijke kwaliteiten en een indrukwekkend pedi-gree. De in 2013 KWPN goedgekeurde hengst First Verdi beschikt over beide. Echter, de moederlijn maakt First Verdi pas echt speciaal. De Lotti-stam staat namelijk garant voor top springpaarden. Grootmoeder Ielottie W is tevens de grootmoeder van Wiesielottie W, die op Grand Prix niveau acteerde onder Willem Greve. Ook Maybe Forever (winnaar Grote Prijs Dortmund onder Bernie Traurig) en Biesielottie van Laura Kraut komen uit deze stam. Daarnaast bracht deze fokfamilie de KWPN dekhengsten Amadeus, Arlando, Irco Polo en Safari voort.

Volgens de commissie is First Verdi een hengst met veel uistraling die goed in het sprinpaardenmodel staat. Hij be-schikt over drie expressieve basisgangen waarvan de galop echt uitblinkt. De galop werd dan ook met een acht gewaar-deerd, evenals zijn vermogen. Hij kreeg hoge punten voor onder andere zijn balans en techniek, maar ook voor zijn in-stelling. First Verdi is een eerlijke hengst die correctheid en vermogen kan toevoegen aan de springpaardenfokkerij.

First Verdi unites Olympic gold and silver. As his name sug-gests, he is a son of the Olympic jumping stallion Verdi. Verdi won team silver in London with Maikel van der Vleuten. The gold medal comes from Vindicat W, ridden by Peter Charles, who comes from the Lotti-bloodline just like First Verdi.

Exceptional qualities and an impressive pedigree. First Verdi, who was KWPN approved in 2013, has both. However, it is First Verdi’s dam-line that makes him really special. Grand dam Ielottie W is also the granddam of Wiesielottie W, who competed at Grand Prix level ridden by Willem Greve. The Lotti-dam-line guarantees top jumping horses. The dam-line also produced Maybe Forever (winner of the Grand Prix in Dortmund with Bernie Traurig) and Biesielottie with Laura Kraut. Furthermore, this breeding-family produced the KWPN stud stallions Amadeus, Arlando, Irco Polo and Safari.

According to the stallion committee First Verdi is a stallion with much presence. He is a well-developed stallion with good jumping conformation. He has three well-developed gaits out of which his canter really excels. His canter was rewarded with an eight, just like his jumping ability. He re-ceived high grades for his balance, technique and attitude. First Verdi is an honest and reliable stallion that can contrib-ute correctness and scope to jumping horse breeding.

LIMBURGSE VEULENVEILING De Limburgse Veulenveiling veilt veulens uit Limburg en omstreken. Zowel dressuur- als spring gefokt. Geselecteerd door vakmensen. Deze veiling staat voor getalenteerde veulens en eerlijke prijzen in een sfeervolle setting. De Limburgse Veulenveiling heeft door de tijd een grandioze reputatie opge-bouwd.

De afgelopen jaren werden prachtige successen neergezet. Vele goedgekeurde hengsten en veilingtoppers in binnen- en buiten-land zijn afkomstig van de Limburgse Veulenveiling. De editie in 2013 was de eerste editie waar dressuurkenner Gertjan van Olst zich aan de veiling committeerde. Dit bracht een flinke impuls aan het dressuuraandeel van de veiling.

LIMBURG FOAL AUCTION The Limburg Foal Auction auctions foals from Limburg and the vicinity. Bred for dressage as well as for jumping. Selected by professionals. We stand for tal-ented foals and honest prices in a pleasant setting.

Through the years many successful horses were sold via de auc-tion. Many approved stallions and auction stars, both domestic and abroad, came from the Limburg Foal Auction. The edition in 2013 was the first edition whereby dressage expert Gerjan van Olst has committed himself to the auction. This brought a big stimulus to the number of dressage foals in the auction collection.

Waar het concours eerst de nadruk had op jonge paarden, is Jumping Peel & Maas nu uitgegroeid tot een mooi nationaal concours met internationale allure.

Jumping Peel & Maas heeft zijn hoogtepunten op de vrijdagavond, met een spectaculair Master springen, dat veel enthousiaste ruiters en publiek uit de omgeving aantrekt. Op zaterdag wordt Jumping Peel & Maas afgesloten met de Grote Prijs op 1.40m niveau.

JUMPING PEEL & MAAS From July 24th till the 26th 2014, the 6th edition of Jumping Peel & Maas will take place, at the property of Stal Hendrix in Kessel. Jumping Peel & Maas is created by an idea of Timothy, Michel and Janou Hendrix. Originally the com-petition first focused on the young horse classes. Jumping Peel & Maas has now become an outstanding national show with an international appearance.

Jumping Peel & Maas has its highlights on Friday evening, with a spectacu-lar Master Jumping that attracts many enthusiastic riders and public from all around the neighborhood. Jumping Peel & Maas will finish the competition with a Grand-Prix on a 1.40m-level on Saturday evening.

1. DEKSEIZOENHet dekseizoen loopt van 1 maart tot 15 augustus 2014.

2. PROCEDURE SPERMAHet is mogelijk om het sperma van Stal Hendrix-hengsten naar een Nederlands SWS-station naar keuze te laten verzenden. Ook kunt u ervoor kiezen het sper-ma zelf bij Stal Hendrix Kessel op te halen. Bij de eerste zending ontvangt het SWS-station of de merriehouder een verzendbewijs, hier dienen de gegevens van zowel de merrie als eigenaar ingevuld te worden. Wanneer de merrie gust is dient de merriehouder dit vóór 1 oktober 2014 te melden. Indien de fokker de gustverklaring nalaat, wordt het totaalbedrag automatisch in rekening ge-bracht. De gustverklaring dient door een dierenarts verstrekt te worden.

3. EMBRYO-TRANSPLANTATIEIndien de merriehouder bij zijn/haar merrie een embryospoeling wil laten uit-voeren, dient hij/zij dit bij de eerste spermabestelling door te geven. Indien de eerste poging niet is geslaagd dient de merriehouder bij een vervolgaanvraag een veterinaire verklaring te overleggen van het betreffende embryocenter waarin bevestigd wordt dat de embryospoeling naar aanleiding van de voor-gaande inseminatie negatief is bevonden.

Indien de embryospoeling positief is bevonden, zal er bij een volgende sperma-bestelling voor deze merrie opnieuw het originele dekgeld in rekening worden gebracht. Indien er uit een inseminatie meerdere embryo’s gespoeld worden zal achteraf het bedrag alsnog in rekening worden gebracht indien de transplanta-tie positief blijkt te zijn.

Het dekgeld wordt per succesvol getransplanteerd embryo in rekening ge-bracht op 1 oktober 2014 bij drachtigheid van de draagmoeder. Let op: indien de transplantatie van het embryo niet succesvol is verlopen, dient de merrie-houder dit voor 1 oktober 2014 te melden middels het opsturen van een gust-verklaring. De gustverklaring dient door een dierenarts verstrekt te worden.

Indien de merriehouder een poging tot fraude doet door ontkenning van het afspoelen van één of meerdere embryo’s, bedraagt de onvoorwaardelijke boete € 2.500,- (excl. BTW) per geval, afgezien van het eveneens verschuldigde dekgeld.

1. STUD SEASONThe stud season runs from 1st March to 15th August 2014.

2. SEMEN PROCEDUREIt is possible to have the semen from Stal Hendrix stallions sent to a Dutch stud of your choice. You can otherwise choose to collect the semen yourself from Stal Hendrix in Kessel. With the first consignment either the stud or the mare holder will receive a proof of shipment document; the details of both the mare and the owner must be filled in on this. The mare-holder must declare before 1st October 2014 whether or not the mare is in foal. If the breeder omits to state that the mare is not in foal, then the full fee will automatically be charged. The “not in foal” declaration must be issued by a vet.

3. EMBRYO-TRANSFERIf the mare-holder wishes to have an embryo flush carried out on his/her mare then he/she must state this when the first order for semen is placed. The mare holder has to produce a valid vet’s certificate from the embryo centre in ques-tion stating that the embryo flush carried out after the first insemination has been found to be negative.

If the embryo flush is found to be positive then a further semen order for this mare will entail the original stud fee being charged again. If from one insemina-tion several embryos are flushed, then the fee will be charged in arrears should the transfer prove to be positive.

The stud fee is charged on 1st October 2014 per successfully transferred em-bryo, if the recipient mare is in foal. If the transfer of the embryo has not been successful, the mare holder must declare this before 1st October 2014 by send-ing a “not in foal” declaration. This “not in foal” declaration must be issued by a vet.

If the mare-holder attempts fraud by denying the flushing of one or more em-bryos then an unconditional fine of € 2.500,- (excluding VAT) per case will be charged, not including the stud fee which is also owing.

Indien de bestelling voor 09:00 uur geplaatst wordt kan het dezelfde dag afge-leverd worden bij alle SWS-stations binnen Nederland.

5. FACTUREN/BETALINGDe merriehouder ontvangt in oktober één totaalfactuur. Betalingen van factu-ren van Stal Hendrix Kessel dienen binnen 14 dagen na factuurdatum te zijn voldaan. Bij overschrijding van de betalingstermijn zal het factuurbedrag ver-hoogd worden met aanmaningskosten en boeterente evenals eventuele incas-sokosten, zowel gerechtelijke als buitengerechtelijke.

6. DEKTARIEVEN VERS SPERMADe hierna vermelde tarieven zijn exclusief BTW en afdrachten. Verzendkosten van sperma worden apart in rekening gebracht.

5. INVOICING/PAYMENTThe mare-holder receives one invoice in October for the total costs. Stal Hen-drix Kessel invoices must be paid in full within 14 days of the invoice date. Ex-ceeding the payment date will incur extra administration costs and penalty interest as well as payment collection costs, legal and extra-judicial costs.

6. STUD FEES FRESH SEMENThe fees are excluding VAT and handling charges. Transport costs of semen are invoiced separately.

Transport costs to studs within The Netherlands are € 50,-. After more than 3 inseminations per mare using sent semen, subsequent consignments are charged at € 13,- each.
