Feedback about STCians...Dear Sir, I take the liberty of emailing you feedback about Shahul Hameed, in the position of his manager for past four years. I have witnessed Shahul perform from the Process Associate level to Team lead in a span of these four years and I would like to inform you that he has been a delight to work with. He comes across as a natural leader without having to coach much. His main strength lies in leading the group of people with ease and execution. His commitment towards customers and management and ownership assuming attitude has earned him special place in the organization. He applies his knowledge gained during his curriculum and previous company in the current position and it has helped the team immensely. Firstly, team members learn about various financial aspects and also on supply chain basics. This has helped team improve process and achieve more than $300,000 USD in single year and also reduce manual work to the extent of Six persons year on year. Shahul has provided various presentations to entire department, which displays his presentation skills and also trained several new members. His training skills are condemnable. His networking capability has helped team get several facilities at reduced price with external vendors. Overall, we are very happy with Shahul’s performance and his contribution towards HP. NAAC PEER TEAM VISIT

STC went for NAAC reaccreditation process. NAAC peer

team headed by Prof. V. Gopal Redddy, along with

Prof.Subirkumar Basu and Dr. P.A.S. Naidu visited our

college in February for this academic exercise. The peer

team visited the college from 11th Feb to 13th Feb 2013. The

team reviewed the infrastructure and performance of all the

departments, centers, office etc. during their visit they met

students, staff, alumni and parents as a part of the

re-accreditation process. The team highly appreciated the

several aspects and activities of the institution. After the

re-accreditation process STC achieved yet another

milestone by obtaining much coveted “A” grade with high

grade points.

B.Com in Business Process Services (BPS)

Course focuses on curriculum which is an outcome

of pioneering efforts from one of the leading IT

companies - Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). TCS

has partnered with Bharathiar University and a few

other colleges affiliated to the university to help in

designing and delivering a degree level curriculum

that would be wholesome to meet the high demand of

graduates who can get into jobs that require

managing business processes for organizations.

Students will develop requisite conceptual and

application skills for this industry. STC and TCS have

taken due care to ensure that there is no compromise

in imparting the fundamental education related to a

degree level commerce curriculum.

Besides this programme the following

programmes have been introduced at STC from

2013 -14 onwards.
