were points of focus: all the buildings are very economical in their use of

energy and are well equipped to keep energy consumption to a minimum.

This is demonstrated by the energy label a certification, with a very low

energy index of 0.90 (very energy-efficient). Besides energy efficiency, the

complex also fulfils the other sustainability principles: People, Planet and

Profit, and these were the foremost concerns in the development of the

entire campus.

De gebouwen op Secoya Campus dragen allemaal een eigen karakter, maar hebben gemeenschappelijk dat

The special work environment of Secoya Campus was realized according

to a design by the norwegian architect, niels Torp. He is known for the

trend-setting ‘office communities’ for British airways, among others, in

which he placed a strong emphasis on cooperation between people. His

most imaginative project is probably the Viking Ship, the famous skating

arena in Hamar, norway, where the 1994 Winter olympics were held.
