• We are always faced with dilemmas, some of which we are not aware of.

• If you do not respect the others' viewpoints, there is no dilemma, merely a problem.

• Some dilemmas are not reconcilable and often it takes time to reconcile.

• Reconciliation is about seeing what we have not seen and looking at an opposite point of

view rather than what is obvious to us.

• Reconciliation only works when the parties are in a position to do something about it and

are committed to the reconciliation.

• Reconciling dilemmas goes beyond overcoming something negative, it creates

opportunities for wealth creation.

• You cannot reconcile, if you only know one side of the story. It is important to get to know

the other side as much as possible. Listening without judgment is a pre-condition for a

reconciliation mind set.
