Preventieve maatregelen
Het geld moet niet in de gezondheidszorg zélf worden gestoken, maar in preventieve
maatregelen die maken dat de bewoners gezonder gaan leven. Dat moet
bijvoorbeeld leiden tot een lagere zuigelingensterfte of minder diabetespatiënten.
Kamerlid wil dat alle betrokken organisaties in de Veenkoloniën langdurig gaan
samenwerken. 'Ze moeten overeenkomen welke gezondheidsdoelen ze de
komende zes tot acht jaar hebben en wat ze willen aanpakken. En uiteindelijk
moet je natuurlijk meten wat daarvan de effecten zijn',
