Product overview 1/5
Product overview ALUPEX Express ALUPEX Express stands up to the most rigorous
demands on building sites. The new fitting is supplied
in a single pre-assembled component and requires no
prepping. Thanks to the new profile of the fitting,
calibrating the pipe is no longer necessary. Also
integrated in the fitting are windows that indicate the
insertion depth of the pipe. The fitter does not have to read out the dimensions from
the product specs and mark the pipe. These innovations reduce assembly time by up
to 50%.
iKLIMA – Comfort and well-being The most comfort with the best energy
savings. Easy and individual
temperature control guarantees your
well-being in every season. iKLIMA
satisfies the diverse requirements in
industrial and residential buildings.
The following application areas are
covered by iKLIMA: Radiator connections, floor heating or cooling systems.

Benefits:
- Air purity - Energy saving
- Physiological compatibility - System integration
- Structural integration - Safety
iFIT – The push-fit system for multi-storey distribution For water distribution to all parts of the building,
the iFIT push-fit system in small dimensions
complements the INSTAFLEX system. No tools
are required to make pipe joints, which means
installation is fast and easy. The modular
component system also means 50% fewer parts
in the product range and more combination options compared to conventional
installation systems. With the iFIT system, installers are free to choose the pipe
material, depending on the application. For plumbing installations, for example, there
is a choice of the flexible polybutene pipe for fine distribution of drinking water and
the dimensionally stable multi-layer composite pipe for basement distribution and
riser pipes.
INSTAFLEX – The complete all-plastic system
With a modern product range for building services, GF Piping
Systems once again demonstrates its leading position as a global
supplier of piping systems with comprehensive solutions from
one source. During the trade fair, GF Piping Systems visitors are
given a closer look at the all-plastic INSTAFLEX system.
INSTAFLEX is a complete all-plastic system (d16 mm – d225 mm)
for hot and cold water installations – from basement distribution and riser pipes to
fine distribution in all corners of the house. The polybutene system features easy and
practical jointing technologies, temperature resistance and a positive energy balance.
Rational prefabrication as well as faster and easier handling are additional features of
this exceptional system.

ELGEF® Plus – The unique modular electrofusion system with integrated screws
ELGEF Plus is the electrofusion system
for pressure pipelines from GF Piping
Systems. Its strength lies in the modular
design, which provides endless
opportunities for combining fittings.
Individual solutions are realized rapidly
and flexibly on site or on the workbench.
Besides the electrofusion couplings, the
system includes a large selection of long branches, fusion devices and accessories.
ELGEF Plus is the only electrofusion system for polyethylene pipelines with
integrated screws, ensuring the highest level of safety and reliability.
PRIMOFIT® PRIMOFIT fittings with mechanical
fastening are made of malleable cast iron
with a selection of sealing elements for
water, gas and othermedia. PRIMOFIT is
ideal for joining different materials such as
steel and PE. It’s the optimal solution for
renovations, repairs and new buildings.
Malleable cast iron connectors – Quality for over 200 years
The GF malleable cast iron fittings
have been successful for over a
century. Adherence to manufacturing
norms such as ISO 49 and UNI EN
10242 ensures proper conservation
with special synthetic resins, so that
threads in the galvanized and black
versions are protected against corrosion. The large selection of fittings from GF
Piping Systems and the thorough testing to which they are subjected allow use in
numerous industrial and commercial applications.

GF JRG valves for drinking water hygiene GF Piping Systems also focuses on clean drinking
water at Mostra Convegno 2012. Many different
specifications need to be complied with in the many
application areas (e.g. in hotels, in industrial
buildings or in hospitals). End users must be able to
depend on a steady supply of water, gas or
compressed air and, equally so, on consistent hygiene and good operating conditions.
Optimal drinking water hygiene is guaranteed by means of zero static valves, stable
systems and materials that do not release microorganisms or nutrients for
microorganisms to feed on into the system. The LegioStop shut-off valve GF Piping
Systems in combination with zero-static connections for Sanipex Classic and
Sanipex MT pipelines satisfy these requirements. GF Piping Sysems presents in
Milano a complete drinking water system that is free of dead legs, prevents
incrustation in pipelines and valves and hinders biofilm growth (bacteria, legionella)
and corrosion. With the new combination possibilities of Sanipex and iFIT products,
Georg Fischer once again underscores their competence in comprehensive system
solutions.
JRG LegioStop – The hygienic valve generation
The GF JRG shut-off valve gives pathogens in
installation systems and valves no chance. The
angle-seat LegioStop valve seals at the spindle,
keeping the mechanical parts dry. In this way, dead
legs are eliminated and legionella are prevented from
forming. LegioStop is a key element in ensuring top
quality drinking water, as the valve is completely free
of dead legs and cavities and complies with all hygienic requirements.

JRG LegioTherm – The system for temperature monitoring
The JRG LegioTherm system is used
wherever hot water circulation is
combined with a regulated thermal
disinfection. It offers protection against
biofilm growth and microbiological
contamination. With the help of
temperature monitoring, JRG LegioTherm guarantees hot water comfort, while also
warning operators of deviations. Since the central control unit can be linked to a PC
network, using JRG LegioTherm reduces operating and maintenance efforts. JRG Sanipex Piping Systems
The jointing technique of Sanipex drinking
water installation systems (JRG Sanipex
MT and JRG Sanipex Classic) provides
more safety across the whole pipe cross-
section, preventing cavities. In addition,
Sanipex systems exhibit low pressure loss
and hardly any flow noise. Sanipex is easy and flexible to install even in places
where space is limited. Thanks to the removable jointing technique, installations are
easily modified or expanded at any time.
