What to pack for your apartment STOUFFER PLACE FURNISHINGSStouffer Place Apartments are fully furnished, including a dishwasher, washer and dryer. Stouffer has double beds and you will need full-size linens. Bedrooms also contain dresser, desk, chair and window blinds.

• 2-bedroom Stouffer apartments furnished with loveseat, accent chair, coffee table, end table, entertainment stand and two bar stools.

• 4-bedroom Stouffer apartments furnished with couch, two accent chairs, coffee table, two end tables, entertainment stand and four bar stools.

JAYHAWKER TOWERS FURNISHINGSJayhawker Towers Apartments are partially furnished. Bedroom furniture in Towers includes window blinds, closet, a bed, a desk, desk chair and drawer space for each resident. Mattresses in Jayhawker Towers are extra-long twins 36 x 80”. Living rooms are not furnished.

Just after 5 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 22, residents attend the first community meeting with their resident assistant. After community meetings, a welcome event kicks off Hawk Week.

PAYMENT PLAN OPTIONS Typically, your all-inclusive housing charge is placed on your Enroll&Pay account near the start of each semester. However, no-interest monthly payment plans are available. For information contact KU Student Accounts & Receivables: student-account-services.ku.edu

Signing up for the Nelnet program offers a monthly payment option to cover tuition, campus fees and housing. There is a flat fee each semester for this service.

Get involvedJOIN JAYSQUAD AND MOVE IN EARLYJaySquad members volunteer on Thursday, Aug. 22 to load carts and help move students to their residence hall rooms. Two shifts are offered on move-in day: 7 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., or 11:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Members receive:

• All JaySquad members may move in early for free and get a T-shirt. Move-in day for volunteers will be Aug. 21 and members must attend a mandatory check-in that evening.

• Three members get a $500 credit on their student housing account.

PROGRAMMING BOARDSYou’ll have plenty of opportunities to get involved with your new hall. Join your community’s Program Board to help plan socials and events for the hall you live in!
