VALERIE VAN LEEERSUMAdrijana Gvozdenovic

To Drift:To be carried slowly by a current of air or water. A continuous slow movement from one place to another.

Adrijana Gvozdenovicborn 1986 (in Montenegro, where fairytales are harsh) does story (and fortune) telling. She collects all sorts of things (eg boxes of medicines she took in period of one year) and takes the daily life as subject matter of fantasies.

Georgie Louise HarrisGeorgie Louise Harris investigates ‘The Stranger’. She is intrigued by the long lasting relationships caused by (not so) fleeting moments. Her research has further extended into the concept of home and belonging whereby her position of migrant plays a very important role. Georgie uses language to express what she sees combined with society’s stereotypical judgments and assumptions. In essence she makes The Stranger not so strange.
