• DD drug-induced liver injury (DILI)

• mortaliteit tot 10% (?) (vnl acuut op chronisch leverfalen)

• HEV type 3 (en 4) - chronische infectie

= aanwezigheid van RNA in bloed of faeces > 6 maanden

• risicofactoren: orgaantransplantatie, HIV, hematologische

maligniteit onder chemo

• meestal asymptomatisch (2/3), soms moeheid of icterus

• ALT slechts matig ↑

• serologie niet steeds betrouwbaar!

• snelle progressieve leverfibrose levercirrose (10-15%) gedecompenseerde chronische ziekte mortaliteit
