The Albert Lea Hazardous Waste Collections are held at the City Transfer Station 2506 W. Richway Dr. Collections in other cities are generally near a city hall or fire station.

It is illegal to leave garbage, tires, appliances, electronics or any other materials meant for a Household Hazardous Waste collection at any recycling drop-off site throughout Freeborn County. Registration required!

Farmers may bring their unwanted agriculture pesticides to the Household Hazardous Waste Collections for disposal. Funding for this program is provided by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Waste Pesticide Collection Program in cooperation with Freeborn County.

Electronics Collection September 25that the Freeborn County Fairgrounds 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the Electronics Collections. We do not accept appliances (white goods) such as stoves, dehumidifiers or cooling units. All businesses must pre-register. Electronics will not be accepted at any other collection.

The Albert Lea Hazardous Waste Collections are held at the City Transfer Station 2506 W. Richway Dr. Collections in other cities are generally near a city hall or fire station.

It is illegal to leave garbage, tires, appliances, electronics or any other materials meant for a Household Hazardous Waste collection at any recycling drop-off site throughout Freeborn County. Registration required!

Farmers may bring their unwanted agriculture pesticides to the Household Hazardous Waste Collections for disposal. Funding for this program is provided by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture Waste Pesticide Collection Program in cooperation with Freeborn County.

Electronics Collection September 25that the Freeborn County Fairgrounds 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Individuals and businesses are encouraged to take advantage of the Electronics Collections. We do not accept appliances (white goods) such as stoves, dehumidifiers or cooling units. All businesses must pre-register. Electronics will not be accepted at any other collection.
