Since 2009 he is full time researcher at the Argentinean National Council for Scientific and Technological Research (CONICET). He teaches Phd, Master and Undergraduate courses at many universities in Argentina. Currently he is director of research staff for the project “Medicalization, modes of subjectification and technological forms of life: the case of biobanks in Argentina” at the Institute of Social Research “Gino Germani” – School of Social Sciences, University of Buenos Aires. CURRENT RESEARCH * Biopolitics, Medicalization, Posthumanism * Philosophy of Culture * Media Subjectivities and Education * Informatics and Society * Works of Michel Foucault, Gilles Deleuze and Gilbert Simondon. INTERZONES He conducts the seminar “Sociedades de control, biopolítica de la información y modos comunicacionales de subjetivación” at the Social Sciences Doctorate. As specialist in the works of the French philosopher Gilbert Simondon, he contributes to the EMJD programme through his exploration of the instable interzones created by the collapse of the boundaries between art and sciences, and between sciences and philosophy, at the end of the 20th Century and the present. Simondon was a pioneer in thinking about these interzones in the 1950’s. MAIN PUBLICATIONS His publications include books, book chapters, articles as well as book translations from French. He publishes in Spanish and French. His latest publications include: Book: History of Information (Buenos Aires, 2012). Book Chapters: “Simondon, Foucault et Deleuze: autour de la notion d’information” (Actes du colloque de Cerisy, Paris, 2014) ; « Afterwords » in Simondon. Individu et collectivité, de Muriel Combes (Paris, 2013) ; “Posalfabetismo. La formación de la información en las sociedades de control” (Sao Paulo, 2009).
