Her Mother is widowed, she has close friends in her society and is trained to lead a good example to others, and especially by marrying well.Due to this background she has very high expectations for her future and her love life. She is quite determined to live the perfect life, and fall in love with her soul mate. She is friendly, considerate and kind, and also rather naïve especially when it comes to her idea of love.

LAWRENCE HUGHES

Lawrence Hughes is very selfish, arrogant and all he cares for in life is money and attractive women. He is born in a family of poor money, and intends to succeed his wealth through marrying a rich, well-loved young lady. He will do whatever it takes to gain the wealth he feels he deserves.

AUGUSTUS LLOYD

Augustus Lloyd has been a friend of Lillian’s family for years, and has gained a close relationship with Lillian. He is very kind, endearing, and cares about Lillian immensely. When his parent’s passed away, his has become even closer with Lillian and her family.Augustus does not want to be with Lillian for the money, he truly loves her for who she is, not where she is from. Their relationship is strong,; but is it unbreakable?
