Not God’s Type by Holly Ordway: An atheist academic comes to believe there is a God, and finds her way to Christianity and ultimately to the Catholic Church. She describes her spiritual journey in this book.

Father Elijah by Michael O’Brien: is a fictional apocalyptic tale that takes place in a world disturbingly like our own where the forces of evil and those of the Church are involved in a final battle for the soul of mankind.

The Ear of the Heart is the autobiography of Mother Dolores Hart, who gave up a promising career as an actress to enter a cloistered Benedictine convent.

Joan of Arc by Mark Twain: Twain was fascinated by the story of Joan of Arc. He considered this book to be his finest work.
