IN MEMORIAM These Proceedings are dedicated to the memory of Ing. Jorge Anhalzer, late President of the Charles Darwin Foundation, and Fabricio Valverde, MSc, late Head of the Technical Department of the Galapagos National Park , who perished in a tragic air crash on 20 April 1998, near Bogota, Colombia, on their way home to Ecuador after the Symposium.
