Snel aan de slag

De Apache 700XR/A werkt met zowel abonnement als prepaid Sim kaarten. Indien u een

prepaid kaart gebruikt, let er dan op dat u een provider neemt waarbij het beltegoed niet verloopt of zo lang mogelijk bruikbaar is. Sommige prepaid kaarten dienen 1 x per jaar

opgewaardeerd te worden.

Zorg dat de kaart al geactiveerd is voordat u deze in de Apache 700XR/A plaatst en dat de voicemail is uitgeschakeld, de Apache 700XR/A is dan gelijk klaar voor gebruik.

Wacht na het aansluiten van de spanning op unit tot de groene LED continu brandt. (Dit

duurt 2 á 3 minuten!)

De groene LED geeft aan dat de Apache 700XR klaar is voor gebruik en u kunt de Apa-che 700XR/A door middel van de commando‟s (zie pagina 10 en 11) programmeren.

Indien de groene LED knippert, is er geen werkende sim kaart geïnstalleerd. De rode LED dient rustig te knipperen en geeft hiermee aan dat de unit volledig actief is.

Aansluitingen voor voeding, interface en antennes:

4. 9-pole (female) SUB-D plug voor RS-232 serial interface. 5. Optie, voor toekomstige toepassingen. 6. 24-polige GPIO 3mm Micro Mate-N-LOK Connector voor aansluiting op schakel-

contact, GPIOs, I²C, ADC. 7. 4-pole 3mm Micro Mate-N-LOK connector voor aansluiting adapter.

8. 6-pole RJ11 plug (niet gebruikt in Alert) 9. SIM kaart houder.

Voeding

De voeding van de APACHE 700XR/A dient 5-24Vdc te zijn en in staat te zijn om een

piek te kunnen leveren tijdens een actieve schakeling.

Een interne zekering zorgt voor veilige elektrische overdracht, volgens EN60950. Deze zekering is niet vervangbaar. Het toepassen van een smeltzekering in de APACHE

700XR/A wordt geadviseerd indien gebruik wordt gemaakt van voertuigen met 24Volt spanning, zoals vrachtwagens. De voeding moet overeenstemmend zijn met de EN60950-richtlijnen.

LET OP: DE VOEDING IS INTERN DOORGELUST VAN DE 4-PINS CONNECTOR NAAR DE

24-PINS CONNECTOR. INDIEN U DE ADAPTER GEBRUIKT, DIENT U ERVOOR TE ZORGEN DAT DE RODE EN ZWARTE DRAAD VAN DE 24-PINS CONNECTOR GEEN SLUITING KUN-

Inputs De inputs worden als actief beschouwd, wanneer deze verbonden zijn met de GND (pin

12).

Open Collector Outputs De outputs zijn gelimiteerd tot de voedings spanning van de input. Wanneer de output niet geactiveerd is, heeft de open collector een hoge weerstand. Wanneer de open col-lector contact maakt met de GND is de ouput actief is (pin 12). Om een relais te schake-

len verbindt u de relais met de stroomvoorziening (Pin 24) en met de output.

Analoog naar Digitaal Converter (ADC) De twee analoge inputs worden gebruikt voor het meten van externe DC voltages met een bereik van 0V tot 5V. Let op: Alleen positieve voltages kunnen worden gemeten, door de input eisen van ADC.

Relais De interne Relais pins 13, 14 van de 24 pins interface connector kunnen gebruikt worden

om externe schakelingen of toepassingen te controleren.

Functie Uitvoering

1.3 Verwijderen van een telefoonnummer

Het verwijderen van telefoonnummers uit de „gewone‟ telefoonlijst.

Telefoonnummer 0542684284 en 0542358721 worden verwijderd uit de „gewone‟

Indien er meer nummers tegelijk uit de telefoonlijst moeten worden verwijderd plaats

dan een punt tussen de telefoonnummers, de maximale SMS lengte kan worden

gebruikt.

1.4 Stel actieve input in SZA.input nummer input nummer

deze is van belang bij elke instelling die gewijzigd moet worden. Bij zoek raken van het

wachtwoord moet de module retour naar de leverancier)

Stel de Apache 700XR/A unit in via RS232 of via modem.

Om de gewenste verbinding te kiezen dient u te klikken op het icoon van de

communicatie selectie

Selecteer RS232 COM port van 1-16 of Modem voor connectie.

Om verbinding te maken via RS232, klik op het verbind-met-unit-icoon.

Om een andere taal te kiezen, klik op het taal-instelling-icoon.

Om alle data op te slaan voor een back-up, klik op het icoon van opslaan.

Telefoonnummer toevoegen

50 telefoonnummers kunnen aan de unit toegevoegd worden. Deze kunnen als

hoofdgebruiker of als basisgebruiker aangewezen worden.

Hoofdgebruikers krijgen een SMS alert van de inputs en kunnen de relais behe-

ren door middel van een telefoontje.

Basisgebruikers kunnen alleen de relais beheren.

Aan de gebruikerslijst kan een naam worden gegeven en vervolgens worden op-

geslagen als een EXCEL lijst. Deze kunnen vervolgens ook weer geïmporteerd worden.

Beheer Inputs en Outputs

Instellingen voor inputnaam en activering, stel inputvertraging in. Als de inputvertraging

bijvoorbeeld 5M is, betekent dat dat de input inactief is gedurende 5 min. na activering.

Stel telefoonnummer voor de unit in om een spraakoproep te doen als de input activeert.

Stel OPEN COLLECTOR outputs in, stel outputs modus in.

Output modus:

Hoog/Laag:

Output parameter: 0 - Deactiveert de output, wat betekent dat de open collector een hoge weer stand heeft.

1 - Activeert de output, betekent dat de open collector verbonden is met GND. Éénmaal, op aanvraag:

Gebruik deze mogelijkheid niet met de software, alleen met SMS. Door input detectie:

De overeenkomstige input activeert de output voor een periode bepaald door de output parameter. Output parameter: tijd ingeven: *U*M*S bijv. 1U3S = 1 uur 3 seconden.

Alarm: Alle inputs activeren de output voor een bepaalde tijdsperiode, bepaald door

de output parameter. Output parameter: tijd ingeven: *U*M*S bijv. 5M3S = 5 minuten 3 seconden. Buzzer:

Geeft aan dat een zoemer aangesloten is op de output. De unit gebruikt deze output om een activatie of deactivatie aan te geven van

de “input enable” of “Bellen” (Volgens de “input Activatie Modus” in de diverse instellingen).

A/D Instellingen

Stel parameter voor elke A/D input in

Parameter kunnen aangepast worden voor input voltage bereik of input huidig

bereik verschillend voor het type unit.

Stel een SMS notificatie in wanneer de hoogste of laagste waarden worden over-

schreven

Stel een naam van de parameter en gemeten symbol in

Stel een SMS bericht in voor wanneer het input voltage beneden de 6V komt

Stel een SMS bericht in voor wanneer het input voltage weer terug boven de 6V

komt.

Diverse instellingen

Op deze pagina kunt u alle diverse instellingen instellen die de XR/A activeren.

Unit naam: De naam van de unit.

Unit tijd: stelt de tijd in voor „speciale‟ telefoonnummers en log.

Unit wachtwoord: verandert het wachtwoord. Is hetzelfde wachtwoord voor de

SMS als voor de RS232 of CSD connectie.

Input activerings modus: activeert of deactiveert de inputs door “Enable PIN”

of door middel van een telefoontje.

Klok update SMS: unit kan de tijd doorkrijgen door eigen SMS, hier dient u het

nummer in te vullen van de unit. Bij spanningsuitval zal de unit zichzelf een SMS

sturen wanneer de unit weer online is. De tijd van de unit wordt dan weer ingesteld met de tijd uit de SMS.

Band selectie: 4 opties voor de band selectie van Europa en Noord Amerika.

Versie: De unit software versie.

Ontvangst: geeft het ontvangstpercentage weer van de unit. Onder de 30%

wordt gezien als zwak ontvangst. Verandering van de plaats van de antenne kan

zorgen voor beter ontvangst.

Schakeltijd: geeft de schakelduur van het relais weer. (maximaal 60 seconden).

Vertragingstijd: De unit stelt deze automatisch in op 3 seconden, gebruik dit

veld voor een andere vertraging.

Input gevoeligheid: Stelt het aantal keer schakelen van een input in voordat

het beschouwd wordt als een inputverandering.

Quick start

The Apache 700XR/A works with contract as well as prepaid Sim cards. When using a

prepaid card, notice that some providers let the call credit expire after a certain time. Some prepaid cards have to be upgraded once a year.

Be sure the card is activated by your provider before you insert the card in the

Apache 700XR/A. Also, disable the PINcode and the voicemail, than the Apache 700XR/A is immediately ready for use.

After connecting the voltage with the Apache 700XR/A wait till the green LED is perma-nently on. (It takes 2 or 3 minutes).

A green LED that is permanently on indicates that the Apache 700XR/A is ready for use.

You can programm the Apache 700XR/A by the commands described at page 26 and 27. When the green LED has a interrupt sequence, the installed Sim card is not working or

there is no contact with the provider of the Sim card. The red LED should have a slow interrupt sequence, this indicates that the unit is completely activated.

Voeding

The power supply of the Apache 700XR/A Terminal has to be a single voltage source of

POWER 5V-24Vdc capable of providing a peak during an active transmission.

The Apache 700XR/A Terminal is protected from supply voltage reversal. An internal fuse ensures an electrical safety according to EN60950. This fuse is not removable. A fast

acting fuse 0.8A with melting is necessary to use with the Apache 700XR/A Terminal at a 24V power supply system for vehicles. The power supply must be compliant with the EN60950 guidelines.

NOTE: THE POWER SUPPLY IS INTERNALY CONNECTED FROM THE 4-PINS CON-

NECTOR TO THE 24-PINS CONNECTOR. IF YOU USE THE ADAPTER, YOU HAVE TO MAKE SURE THAT THE RED AND BLACK WIRE OF THE 24-PINS CONNECTOR DO

NOT CONNECT!

Inputs The inputs are considered active when connected to GND (pin 12).

Open Collector Outputs The outputs are limited to the power supply input voltage.

When the output is not active the open collector is high impedance. When the output is active, means the open collector is short to the GND (pin 12). To switch a relay, connect the relay to the power supply (Pin 24) and to the output.

Analog to Digital Converter (ADC) The two analog inputs are used for measuring external DC voltages in a range of 0V to

5.0V. Note: Only positive voltage can be handled because of the input requirement of ADC.

Relay The internal Relay pins 13,14 at the 24 pins interface connector may be used for control-

ling external circuit devices or applications.

SMS Commands

1.1 PASSWORD

Every SMS starts with p:password Example: P.1234A.0541122333.0544455666

the command P. The password is 1234 the command A. is add new phone number 0541122333 and 0544455666

1.2 ADD NEW PHONE NUMBER A.phone number.user type

Add new phone numbers to the phone list Types: 1-master , 2-slave

Example 1: P.1234A.0547512152.1 Add 0547512152 to the phone list, its type is a master.

Example 1: P.1234A.0547512152.2 Add 0547512152 to the phone list, its type is a slave.

1.3 DELETE PHONE NUMBER

D.phone number.phone number Delete phone numbers from regular phone list Example: P.1234D.0542684284.0542358721

Phone number 0542684284 and 0542358721 deleted from the regular phone list, put comma between the phone numbers, can use all SMS size.

1.4 SET ZONE ACTIVE LIST

SZA.zone number zone number Set zone active list, from zone 1 to 7, when zone number appear the zone is active. Example: SZA.157

Zone number 1 active, Zone number 5 active, Zone number 7 active. Zone numbers 2,3,4,6 not active.

To select the connection, push the phone icon number 1 on the top image.

Select RS232 COM port from 1-16 or Modem for CSD connection.

To make RS232 connection, push the icon number 3 on the top image.

To select different language, push the icon number 2 on the top image.

To save all unit data for backup, push the icon number 4 on the top image.

To open backup unit data, push the icon number 5 on the top image.

Add phone numbers

50 phone numbers add to the unit select user as master or secondary.

Master user get SMS alert from zones and can control the relay with call.

Secondary user can only control the relay.

User phone list and name can be exported and imported to EXCEL file.

Control Inputs en Outputs

Setting zone name and activation, set zone delay. If the zone delay is for example 5M, it

means the input is inactive for 5 minutes after activation.

Set phone number for unit to make VOICE call when the zone activates.

Setting OPEN COLLECTOR outputs, set outputs mode.

Output state modes:

High/Low:

Output state parameter: 0 - Deactivate the output, means the open collector is high impedance.

1 - Set the output to be active, means the open collector is short to the GND. Once, by request: Do not use this state with the software, only SMS.

By zone detection: The correspond input activate the output for a period of time determined by

the output state parameter. Output state parameter: time format: *H*M*S e.g. 1H3S = 1 hour 3 seconds.

Alarm: All the inputs activate the output for a period of time determined by the output state parameter.

Output state parameter: time format: *H*M*S e.g. 5M3S = 5 minutes 3 sec. Buzzer:

Indicate that a buzzer connected to the output. The unit will use this output to indicate an activation or deactivation of the

zones by “Zone enable” or “Ring” (according to the “Zone Activation Mode” in the miscellaneous section).

Parameter can be set for input voltage range or input current range according to

the unit type.

Set SMS notification when passing high or low values

Set name of parameter and measured symbol

Set SMS message when input voltage goes below 6V

UNIT NAME

UNIT TIME, set time for special phone number and log.

UNIT PASSWORD, change unit password,

The password applies to SMS, RS232 or CSD connection.

SELF CLOCK UPDATE SMS, on unit power up, unit can get the time from SMS

send to itself, fill-in the SIM number of the unit to this field.

BAND SELECTION, 4 options for band selection for EUROPE and North America.

ZONE ACTIVATION MODE, activate or deactivate the zones by the “Enable

PIN” input or by a call (Ring).

VERSION, get unit software version.

RECEPTION, get unit reception level under 30% will consider low level, try to

improve GSM antenna location for better reception.

GATE DELAY, unit set to 3 second normally, for different time delay set this box.

INPUT DEBOUNCE, set the amount of times to sample an input (zone) before it

will be considered it as an input change.
