1.1. Introduction

Hutech International was incorporated in South Africa in 1998 with the vision to establish a national footprint by engaging in and providing a sustainable business for SMMEs in the Human Resources industry in South Africa.

The company has grown across all major regions in Southern Africa. It has been a long and fruitful journey, where assistance has been given to a wide spectrum of industry verticals across the globe and the company has developed into a 100-member team. Our experience of serving longstanding clients and forging strong working relationships has equipped us to consistently deliver quality services in a quick turnaround time.

Our clients have reaped benefits and gained valuable solutions from outsourcing some of their crucial Human Resources functions to Hutech International. 1.3. Executive Team

Dan Mokgwetsi, Chairman As Chairman of the Hutech International Group, Dan's primary role is to provide strategic direction to the Group. He obtained a BCom Honours degree with specialisation in Human Resources Management (HRM) from the University of South Africa and carries multiple diplomas and certificates in Executive Leadership, Risk Management and extensive skills-based short programmes, particularly in HRM and General Management. As Chairman, Dan is instrumental in enhancing Hutech’s strategic positioning in South Africa.

Basil Muller (CEO) Founder of Hutech International, he is a staunch believer that people can take charge of their own destiny. He graduated with a MCom degree from the University of South Africa in 1990 and was involved in the Human Resources field as a registered Industrial Psychologist and as mentor for the South African Board for Personnel Practitioners.

To enhance Hutech’s capability to provide a one-stop Human Resource service from a strategic and operational level, the following subject specialists have been integrated within the structure.

John Kymdell - Industrial Relations & HR Systems

John made his first professional appearance in the engineering environment. He served as consulting engineer with Fedgas (Pty) Ltd and completed his Law Degree at the University of Pretoria. John’s specialised know-how with regard to Industrial Relations and HR systems have brought a significant added-value to the Group’s value offering to our clients.

Dr. Kulu Ferreira – HR Strategist, Training and Development & HR Consulting Completed his Doctor Technologiae (Human Resources) in 2008 at the Central University of Technology. He is also a moderator at the same for the subjects Human Resources IV, Strategic Planning IV and Training IV and a qualified Skills Development Facilitator with various Seta’s as well as a BBB-EE Consultant. He is registered with the SABPP as a Master Human Resources Practitioner and has vast practical and theoretical experience in Strategic and Functional Human Resources Practices and Processes, as well as Strategic Business Management, Diversity Management, Service Excellence, Industrial Relations and Training and Development. He also holds membership with the Institute for People Management. Advocate Christo Brits – Legal and Compliance Specialist

Admitted Advocate of the Supreme Court of the Republic of South Africa.

Whilst serving in the South African Police Services Legal Department he was instrumental in the development of training programmes of the South African Police Service, pertaining to Human Rights and development of Industrial Relation Policies and Procedures that conform to the constitutional principles as set out in the Constitution of South Africa. He has been responsible for the Employers’ organisation, SAUEO (South African United Employers Organisation) Free State and Northern Cape office for the last 10 years. This is due to his extensive experience in the constitutional and statutory principles with regard to IR, safety and security functions.

DARLINGTON HUKUIMWE - SOUTHERN AFRICA

Hutech has expanded into Southern Africa viz. Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mozambique. Our

operations in these countries are headed by Darlington Hukuimwe based in Gaborone – Botswana.

The purpose of the Southern Africa drive is to take root and grow across the continent and to

establish and empower local service entities – Africa for Africa.
