    Rotkohlsaft blau rot grn

    Der Indikator reagiert auf ein sure- oder basetypisches Teilchen, das in allen sauren oder basischen Lsungenvorkommen muss. Da sowohl Suren als auch Basen ihre Wirkung nur in wssriger Lsung entfalten, kann manschlieen, dass das sure bzw. basetypischen Teilchen durch eine Reaktion mit Wasserentstehen.

    Bei Sure-Base-Reaktionen ist auch die Rckreaktionmeist recht ausgeprgt. Man verwendet daher i.A. denDoppelpfeil:

    Eigenschaften von konzentrierter Schwefelsure

    1. Schwefelsure ist eine starke Sureund oxidiert mit ihren H+-Ionen unedle Metallewie z.B. Eisen:H2SO4 + Fe Fe

    2. Schwefelsure ist ein starkes Oxidationsmittelund oxidiert mit ihren SO42-Ionen auch edle Metallewiez.B. Kupfer:H2SO4 + Cu Cu

    2++ SO32 + H2O

    3. Schwefelsure ist stark hygroskopisch(wasserentziehend). Organische Stoffe werden durch Oxidation undWasserentzug verkohlt.

    4. Nie das Wasser in die Sure, sonst passiert das Ungeheure: Schwefelsure reagiert unter starkerWrmeentwicklung mit Wasser (Lsungsvorgang). Giet man Wasser in konzentrierte Schwefelsure, soverdampft dieses sofort und reit dabei Schwefelsure mit sich aus dem Reaktionsgef.

    5. Konzentrierte Schwefelsure hat eine fast doppelt so groe Dichtewie Wasser: Bei c = 95 % ist = 1,84g/cm3.
